ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Approval of the purchase of a Caterpillar 306-07 CA mini-excavator and D2 12A LGP bulldozer from Mustang CAT through the Sourcewell Purchasing Cooperative.
BACKGROUND
Both of these pieces of equipment are to replace old equipment already in our fleet. Funds are made available in the 2021/2022 Capital Equipment Replacement Fund for the Public Works Department.
The price for the mini-excavator is $91,218.70 and the price for the bulldozer is $154,139.43 via Sourcewell Contract # 032119-CAT.
Both are being purchased from the same dealer and will be on the same purchase order.
