Approving the construction of new internet fiber service from PS Lightwave for the Texas City Police Department.
BACKGROUND
Construction of new internet fiber service from PS Lightwave. Construction will go to the police department and provide redundant connections for city internet, phones, radio systems, computer-aided dispatch systems, and various city services. This is a 5-year contract with $2,092 reoccurring costs once construction and activation are completed and $73,163 in construction costs. Construction cost is being financed over 18 months by PS Lightwave and will be billed at $4,062.94 per month.
