Consider approval of a request to amend the fiscal year 2021-2022 budget to increase the Information Technology budget for new internet fiber service for Police Department.

See Resolution No. 21-090 for construction of new internet fiber service from PS Lightwave. Construction will go to the police department and provide redundant connections for city internet, phones, radio systems, computer-aided dispatch systems, and various city services. This is a 5-year contract with $2,092 reoccurring costs once construction and activation are completed and $73,163 in construction costs. Construction cost is being financed over 18 months by PS Lightwave and will be billed at $4,062.94 per month.

Information Technology department will pay for the construction and the first year payment for a grand total of $75,255.00
