Bid packets were mailed to area vendors. The bid was also posted in the newspaper on 9/23/2021 and 9/30/2021.

ANALYSIS
Baker & Taylor's website and ordering platform is far more robust than other bid submissions. Baker & Taylor has full-text reviews from our major publications we use for purchase.
After careful review by Luke Alvey, Library Director, of each bid received, it is recommended the Library Materials Annual Contract be awarded to Baker & Taylor, Inc. in North Carolina, and authorize the Mayor to execute a contract on behalf of the City Commission.
