ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Approve the execution of a purchase order for ARKK Engineers, LLC., for the engineering services of the 7th Avenue Drainage Project.
BACKGROUND
The City entered into an agreement with ARKK Engineers, LLC. for the engineering services of our CDBG-MIT projects under Resolution 20-081. The 7th Avenue Drainage Project is part of this grant. ARKK Engineers, LLC.'s total sum for this part is $1,383,140.00.
Funds are made available through a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) - Disaster Recovery Mitigation, for this project.
This Project will replace major storm sewer piping as the existing pipes have reached the end of their life span resulting in severely diminished effectiveness, and major erosion issues.
