ACTION REQUEST
Consider and take action authorizing the Mayor to execute a one-year agreement between the County of Galveston and the City of Texas City for Mutual Aid. (Fire Department)
BACKGROUND (Brief Summary)
New annual agreement replacing the FY 21/22 Agreement between the parties. The City agrees to provide its fire protection services to the unincorporated areas of Galveston County via mutual aid request for a period of one year and will receive from Galveston County the sum of $22,300.00 in consideration.
RECOMMENDATION
Fire Chief recommends approval of the Mutual Aid Agreement for FY 22/23.
