ACTION REQUEST
Approve the purchase of a 2024 Freightliner Western Star with GapVax Body, for the Utilities Department, from LoneStar Freightliner Group, LLC., via the BuyBoard Purchasing Cooperative contract # 601-19, for the total sum of $482,885.05.
BACKGROUND (Brief Summary)
The equipment will be replacing the Utilities Department old GapVax truck. Funds are made available in the 2023 Sewer Capital Outlay budget. The BuyBoard worksheet is attached for you review.
RECOMMENDATION
It is the recommendation of the Public Works Department to award the purchase and delivery of this equipment from LoneStar Freightliner Group, LLC., via the BuyBoard Cooperative Purchasing Program contract # 601-19, for the total contract price of $482,855.05. Thank you.
