ACTION REQUEST
Approve and award a contract for Bid # 2023-004 Recycled Crushed Concrete Annual Contract.
BACKGROUND (Brief Summary)
On 01/10/2023 and 01/17/2023 the notice to bidders was published in the Galveston County Daily News. Bid packets were sent to local area vendors at that time. The bids were opened 01/25/2023 and read aloud. The lowest responsible bidder meeting all qualifications is Texas Materials Group Inc., dba Gulf Coast. A bid tabulation is attached for your review.
RECOMMENDATION
It is the recommendation of the Public Works Department to award bid number 2023-004 to Texas Materials Group Inc., dba Gulf Coast, for the unit prices bid and that the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract on behalf of the City Commission. Thank you.
