Consider approval of a request to amend the City of Texas City’s fiscal year 2022-2023 budget.
BACKGROUND (Brief Summary)
A budget amendment is needed to create an Economic Development Project Manager position and to appropriate funds to pay for salary and benefits of this new position.
This position was one of the recommendations made from the Texas City Economic Development Corporation's (TCEDC) strategic plan study performed by Garner Economics, LLC in 2022. This budget amendment covers the remaining six months of this fiscal year.
