ACTION REQUEST
Consider approval of a request to amend the fiscal year 2022-2023 budget to transfer funds between Texas Economic Development Corporation business incentive account to demolition account.
BACKGROUND (Brief Summary)
In this fiscal year, a significant number of substandard structures have required demolition; requiring more funds than originally budgeted. Texas City Economic Development Corporation (TCEDC) business incentive account has excess funds that can be transferred to the demolition account to pay for the demolition projects. The amount of the transfer request is $175,000.
A budget amendment is required to transfer funds between accounts because the amount exceeds $50,000.
