ACTION REQUEST
Approve and award a contract for Bid no. 2024-440, 7th Avenue North Drainage Improvements Project - Package 1, to PM Construction & Rehab, LLC., in Pasadena, Texas.
BACKGROUND (Brief Summary)
Bid # 2024-440, 7th Avenue North Drainage Improvements Project - Package 1 was advertised in the local area newspaper on November 15. 2023 and November 22, 2023. Bid packets were made available via CIVCASTUSA.
Bids were received and opened on December 12, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. and the lowest responsible bid came from PM Construction & Rehab, LLC., in Pasadena, Texas, for the total bid amount of $2,109,450.00. The project to be constructed will be financed with assistance from the GLO under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development CDBG-MIT program.
A bid tabulation and letter of recommendation are attached for your review.

RECOMMENDATION
It is the recommendation of the Public Works Department to award Bid # 2024-440, 7th Avenue Drainage Improvements Project Package 1, to PM Construction & Rehab, LLC., in Pasadena, Texas, for the total bid amount of $2,109,450.00, and that the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract on behalf of the City Commission.
