ACTION REQUEST
Request the approval of the purchase of police fleet vehicles for FY25.
BACKGROUND (Brief Summary)
The number of vehicles required to maintain the police fleet were calculated and quotes were obtained from Silsbee Ford for these vehicles. The quotes for the vehicles were included in the budget packet for FY 2025 and were approved. The pricing for the vehicles is in accordance with TIPS USA210907. The total price of the twelve (12) police vehicles is $911,970.26.
RECOMMENDATION
The Chief and Command Staff recommend the purchase of these vehicles to maintain the fleet.
