ACTION REQUEST

Consider and take action on a resolution approving the purchase of new furniture for the police department.

BACKGROUND (Brief Summary)

Most of the furniture in the police department is original to the building (1998) and in need of replacement.  The funds for the purchase of this furniture have been budgeted for and are available in the FY2025 budget, Capital Equipment Replacement (Land & Building Improvements).  The total for the purchase is $68,454.53, via PCA Contract #OD-389-23 from Office Furniture Connection.

RECOMMENDATION

The Chief and Command Staff recommend this purchase.
