Consideration for authorization to award RFP 2025-471 Replacement of Indoor Shooting Range Target System for Texas City Police Department submitted by the Purchasing Coordinator.
BACKGROUND (Brief Summary)
A notice to bidders was published on February 18, 2025, and again on February 25, 2025. Bids were received and opened on March 12, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. The bidder meeting all specifications outlined in the proposal documents was InVeris Training Solutions, Inc. from Suwanee, Georgia, for the total bid amount of $285,000.00. Funds are made available via the City of Texas City 2025/2025 Annual Budget account number 602201-55010.

RECOMMENDATION
It is the recommendation of the Chief and Command Staff of the Police Department to award RFP number 2025-471 to InVeris Training Solutions, Inc., for the total bid amount of $285,000.00, which was budgeted for in the FY 24-25' budget.
