ACTION REQUEST

Commission approval to enter into a contract with Felder Water Well & Pump Service, LLC for the rehabilitation of District 14 Water Well for the amount of $93,975.00.

BACKGROUND (Brief Summary)

On November 19, 2025, the City of Texas City received three (3) bids for the above-referenced project. This project involves the rehabilitation of the City of Texas City District 14 Water Well. Please see the recommendation letter from ARKK Engineers and accompanying bid Tab for the project detailing the bids as received.  Felder Water Well & Pump Service LLC is the qualified low bidder, and they provided a list of qualifications and references for this project.

Based on the information provided, Felder Water Well & Pump Service LLC has completed work of similar nature for various municipalities located throughout the Greater Houston area. City staff has also worked with Felder Water Well & Pump Services and are pleased with their work performance. 

RECOMMENDATION

It is the recommendation of the Utilities Department for the City Commission to approve and award Felder Water Well & Pump Service, LLC this project.
