ACTION REQUEST
Consider and take action on authorizing the City of Texas City to renew the CivicPlus services agreement in the amount of $58,855.21.
BACKGROUND (Brief Summary)
CivicPlus provides the City’s primary website platform, CivicRec for Parks and Recreation scheduling, and Social Archive for social media record retention. To improve efficiency, all CivicPlus services—previously managed under multiple purchase orders—have been consolidated into a single purchase order with a unified renewal date under the TIPS cooperative contract. This ensures streamlined billing, improved contract management, and continued compliance with cooperative purchasing requirements.
The renewal includes website hosting and security, department headers, Economic Development and Tourism subsites, recreation management tools, payment gateway support, SSL/DNS management, accessibility services, and social media archiving.
