ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Approve and award Bid # 2010-968 Sludge Disposal from Wastewater Treatment Plant Annual Contract.
BACKGROUND
Bid packets were mailed to eight (8) area vendors on June 23, 2010. A bid tabulation is attached for your review.

ANALYSIS
The low responsible bid meeting all specifications was received from Waste Connections of Texas (Seabreeze), in Angleton, for the unit price bid of $307.50 per load.
It is my recommendation to award the annual contract to Waste Connections of Texas and that the Mayor is authorized to execute a contract on behalf of the City Commission.
