Approve and award the 6 mos. annual contract for Liquid Asphalt - Transport Load Bid # 2011-983.
BACKGROUND
On November 3, 2010, two bid packets were mailed to area vendors. A bid tabulation is attached for your review.

ANALYSIS
The low responsible bids meeting all specifications were received as follows, for the unit prices bid per product:
Cleveland Asphalt Products, Inc., in Shepherd: CRS-2, SS-1, AE-p and CSS-1
Martin Asphalt Co., in Houston: HFRS-2 and AE-P
It is my recommendation to award the 6 mos. annual contract to Cleveland Asphalt Products, Inc. and Martin Asphalt Co., for the unit prices bid per product as shown and that the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract on behalf of the City Commission.
