ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Consider approval of Resolution No. 12-02, increasing grant award of funds for Ballet Folklorico Fiesta Mexicana. Total funds awarded to be FIFTEEN HUNDRED DOLLARS ($1500.00).
BACKGROUND
At the last meeting there was a request for $2,800 for the Ballet Folklorico. In the past we funded $1,500. A typo in the description left off the 1 and stated $500. The Resolution was prepared from what was in the description. However, the motion showed $500. For clarity, if the board was to remain consistent with past years, Hilda Torres would like at least $1,500. This is up for consideration in case the board's decision was based upon the typo in the descripition in the background information.
