ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Consider approval of a request to amend the fiscal year 2007/2008 budget to close 2006/2007 fiscal year purchase orders.
BACKGROUND
Purchase orders that are outstanding at the end of the fiscal year are to be cancelled and rolled into the new fiscal year. Since encumbrances impact budgets, the current fiscal year’s budget must be increased to reflect outstanding encumbrances from the 2006/2007 fiscal year.
