ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Approval of Program Year 2008 Community Development Block Grant Budget in the amount of $427,793
BACKGROUND
On March 20, 2008 the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Allocated to the City $427,793 for the 2008 Fiscal Year, (October 1, 2008-Spetember 31, 2009). As required by regulation the City conducted two (2) public hearing meetings (March 26 & April 23, 2008) for citizen comments and participation in the discussion of the 2008 programs and unit of funding. I have attached a copy of the propsoed 2008 budget.
