ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Approve and award Bid # 2008-919 for the purchase and delivery of Vegetation Management Chemicals Annual Contract.
BACKGROUND
On August 19, 2008 four (4) bid packets were mailed to area vendors. A bid tabulation is attached for your review.

ANALYSIS
The low responsible bid meeting all specifications were received as follows for the unit prices bid:
UAP Distribution, Inc.: items # 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 15, 17, 19 and 22.
Red River Specialties, Inc.: items # 1, 2, 13, 14, 16, 18, 20 and 21.
It is my recommendation to award the Vegetation Management Chemicals annual contract to UAP Distribution, Inc. and Red River Specialties, Inc., for items listed and that the Mayor is authorized to execute a contract on behalf of the City Commission.
