ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Approve and award Bid # 2008-920 Recycled Crushed Concrete Annual Contract.
BACKGROUND
On September 24, 2008 two (2) bid packets were mailed to area vendors. A bid tabulation is attached for your review.
Bids opened Thursday, October 9, 2008 at 2:00 p.m.

ANALYSIS
The low responsible bids were received as follows, for the unit prices bid:
Cherry Crushed Concrete, in Houston, $ 12.00 per ton - Picked up by City truck.
Southern Crushed Concrete, in Houston, $ 18.00 per ton - Delivered in Tandem Dump Truck and
$ 17.80 - Delivered in Trailer Truck.
It is my recommendation to award the annual contract for Recycled Crushed Concrete to Cherry Crushed Concrete for the Picked up by City Truck and Southern Crushed Concrete for the Delivered in Tandem Truck and/or Delivered in Trailer Truck.
