ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Consider and approve an application for the Texas Traffic Safety STEP 2009 SPEED Grant for the the Police Department. The three(3) year funding period is October 1, 2008 through September 30, 2011. This is a Reimbursement 'Speed' violation grant. Total amount available for Reimbursement to the City will be $188,328.00. Total amount of award is $208,391.00, with the Match amount being $21,063.00.
