ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
City Commission adopting Resolution No. 08-104 establishing a date for Public Hearing on Updated Land Use, Capital Improvements and Impact Fees
BACKGROUND
Capital Recovery Fee is an incremental fee charged to each new development based on the impact that development will have on the City’s significant water and sewer facilities. The Capital Recovery Fee provides a fair way to share in the cost of Major Capital facilities for new developments.
State Statute requires a review of the plan every five years. Current City plan was last reviewed the later part of 2003.
