ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Consider and take action on Resolution No. 21-008, approving the purchase of six (6) 2021 Ford Explorer's through GoodBuy Program, a local government cooperative, in response to the hiring of six (6) Police Officers. (Police Department)
BACKGROUND
The first quote is for six 2021 Ford Explorer's, $328,675.50. These Explorer's will be purchased under the Good Buy Program for an admistrative fee of $300.00 which is included in the price. These six vehicles are being purchased in respone to the approval of hiring an additional six officers through the Cops Fast Grant.
