ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Consider and take action on Ordinance No. 21-03, amending the City's fiscal year 2020-2021 budget to appropriate funds for upgrading the existing controlled access system for Municipal Court. (Finance)
BACKGROUND
The Municipal Court controlled access system needs to be upgraded. The system includes card access control equipment, magnetic locks, and card readers for three doors. The total cost of the project is approximately $11,775. The quote from Alert Alarms, the original vendor for the existing system, is attached.
Funding will be provided by the Municipal Court Building Security Fund unassigned fund balance.
