ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Approve and award a contract for bid # 2022-019 Building Materials Annual Contract.
BACKGROUND
On May 09, 2022 the Notice to Bidders was emailed to the Galveston Daily News, and published on May 11 and May 18, 2022. Bid packets were sent to local area vendors.Bids were opened on May 25, 2022 at 10 a.m. and read aloud. The lowest responsible bidder meeting all qualifications is Kilgore's Clear Lake Lumber in League City, TX.

ANALYSIS
It is the recommendation of the Public Works Department to award the 2022-019 Building Materials Annual Contract to Kilgore's Clear Lake Lumber for the unit prices bid, and that the Mayor is authorized to execute a contract on behalf of the City Commission.
