ACTION REQUEST
Consider and take action Resolution No. 2023-046, approving the preparation and repainting of the entire metal slide structure and stairs at the Nessler Park Family Aquatic Center from Generocity Services, Inc through Choice Partners (contract #23-016MR) – local government purchasing cooperative.
BACKGROUND (Brief Summary)
Over the past 10 years, the water slides stairs and structure have experienced normal wear and tear. The scope of work would include #1 prior to painting, all painted metal surfaces will be power washed and scrubbed. #2 All surfaces sanded and wiped clean. #3 All loose flaking paint to be removed and cleaned prior to being primed. #4 All metal areas to receive one coat of primer. #5 (2) coats of topcoat to all surfaces with black paint. #6 Stairs treads and risers painted with sharkgrip additive. #7 All surrounding areas to be always protected from any falling debris or waste.

RECOMMENDATION
It is the recommendation of the Recreation & Tourism Department to approve the preparation and repainting of the entire metal slide structure and stairs at the Nessler Park Family Aquatic Center from Generocity Services, Inc through Choice Partners (contract #23-016MR) – local government purchasing cooperative for a total amount of $54,180.00. Funds are available in the FY2022-23 Rec & Tour Budget.
