ACTION REQUEST
Consider approval of a request to amend the fiscal year 2022-2023 budget to appropriate funds for additional nuisance abatement expenses.
BACKGROUND (Brief Summary)
The City has been abating many properties through the Neighborhood Improvement Services group. Expenses for cleanup are exceeding the original budget of $125,000.
This budget amendment is requesting an additional $200,000 for these expenses. These funds will come from the Nuisance Abatement Income, charges that are billed to the applicable property owners.
