Requesting to appoint Angela Moreno to the Library Board
BACKGROUND (Brief Summary)
On or about October 8, 2024, Board Member Brandon Johnson notified Cheryl Lowen, Library Director, that he would no longer be able to serve due to scheduling conflicts. After reviewing four applications, the Library staff met with Angela Moreno and determined that she would be a great fit for the established Library Board and made a recommendation for her appointment.
This appointment will fill the vacancy on the Board created by Brandon Johnson's departure. There is no fiscal impact for this agenda item.

RECOMMENDATION
The Library Director and City Secretary recommend the appointment of Angela Moreno to the Library Board.
