ACTION REQUEST

Request the purchase of Administration fleet vehicles for FY25.

BACKGROUND (Brief Summary)

The Administration is restructuring our fleet vehicles to better and more efficiently serve our residents. We currently have four vehicles in the fleet, with plans to transfer two to the Fire Department and repurpose one as a reserve vehicle when a city staff vehicle is being serviced. By creating a standardized Admin fleet of Ford vehicles with consistent branding, our staff can maximize the use of a pool vehicle for City business. The commission approved the request to purchase four (4) vehicles in the FY25 Adopted Budget in the amount of $155,000.  The pricing of the vehicles was provided by Chastang Ford in accordance with TIPS USA.

RECOMMENDATION

It is our recommendation that the Mayor and City Commission approve the purchase for the four (4) vehicles.
