ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Approval for award of Engineering Contract to HDR Engineering, Inc. for Engineering and Construction Phase Services for the Texas City Dike Road Paving Improvements Project.
BACKGROUND
The Consultant's fee for the scope of services is $409,800.00 for design services and miscellaneous and $289,925.00 for construction phase services, for a total contract amount of $699,725.00.

Funds are available in the Hurricane Ike-FEMA-Street & Bridge-Hurricane Ike-Expenditures.

ANALYSIS
It is my recommendation to award the Agreement for Services to HDR Engineering, Inc., for the total contract price of $699,725.00 and that the Mayor is authorized to execute a contract on behalf of the City Commission.
