ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
A resolution approving the purchase of 525 Visa Gift cards in the amount of $50.00 each to be given to all City employees (full and part-time), as an incentive for continued outstanding customer service and performance.
BACKGROUND
The City Commission approved 500 Visa Gift Cards in the amount of $100.00 each to be given to all City employees (full and part-time) in 2008 for the outstanding customer service and performance during the year, especially after Hurricane Ike.
ANALYSIS
The cost for the 525 cards at $50.00 each will be $26,250.00, plus an activation charge of $1.95 each which will be $1,023.75, for a total cost of $27,273.75.
