ACTION REQUEST
Consider and approve the award of a Commissioners' Community Grant to the TCISD Foundation for the Future, on behalf of Commissioner Keith Love, to purchase personal hygiene items to be given away at the August 2nd Valero backpack giveaway at Blocker Middle School.
BACKGROUND (Brief Summary)
Commissioner Keith Love has requested the award of $5,000 to the TCISD Foundation for the Future in support of the Valero backpack giveaway. This will be the entirety of Commissioner Love's Community Grants funds for FY 2025.
RECOMMENDATION
It is the recommendation of the Mayor and the Director of Community Development & Grants Administration that the grant be awarded as requested.
