Consider and take action to approve the award of a $1,500 Commissioners’ Community Grant to The Culture Corporation, on behalf of Commissioner DeAndre’ Knoxson.

The Culture Corporation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Texas City, TX, has established itself as a cornerstone of the community by empowering and supporting youth through free, impactful programs.
Its newest initiative, the Mental and Behavioral Health Program, is dedicated to equipping young people with vital resources in mental health, emotional awareness, and social skills development. This program provides students with the tools to build resilience, foster personal growth, and achieve academic success. With the support of community leaders, The Culture Corporation can offer specialized materials, qualified facilitators, and a nurturing environment, ensuring that these essential services remain free and accessible to all TCISD students and their families.
