ACTION REQUEST
Consider and take action on Resolution No. 2025-140, authorizing the purchase of 475 Visa gift cards in the amount of $50.00 each to be given to City employees (full-time and part-time) as an incentive for continued outstanding customer service and appreciation.
BACKGROUND (Brief Summary)
The total cost for the Visa gift cards will be approximately $24,462.50, which includes 475 cards at $50.00 each ($23,750.00), plus a $1.50 per card activation charge ($712.50). Shipping cost is unknown at this time.
This is budgeted for annually and the cards are given to all full-time and part-time employees with over a year of service with the City of Texas City.
