ACTION REQUEST
The Public Works Department is seeking Commission approval for the City of Texas City to enter into contract with ARKK Engineers for design of the water and sewer system for Fire Station 5 in the amount of $66,720.00.
BACKGROUND (Brief Summary)
This proposal is for providing engineering design and construction phase services for the provision of utilities (water and wastewater) to serve the proposed Fire Station No. 5 (currently under design by Joiner Architects). See Exhibit A for detailed proposal.
RECOMMENDATION
It is the recommendation of the Public Works Department for the Commission to approve this agenda item as stated.
