ACTION REQUEST
The Utilities Department is requesting the City Commission approve the proposal from SoCo Properties LLC ( UEI# JXLUT87JM7E1) for Phase 1 replacement of the WWTP roof that was damaged during Hurricane Beryl in July of 2024 in the amount of $258,894.00.

BACKGROUND (Brief Summary)
The roof at the WWTP was damaged during Hurricane Beryl and is in need of repair. SoCo Properties LLC proposes to provide turnkey exterior rehabilitation of the existing structure, including demolition, surface preparation and coatings, and installation of new roof and wall panel systems. This scope is specifically structured to replace all nonstructural exterior components while maintaining the integrity of the existing interior roofing and primary structural frame. For budgetary reasons the roof replacement will be done in two phases with Phase 1 consisting of the eastern portion of the building. See Picture 1
RECOMMENDATION
The Utilities Department recommends approving the proposal from SoCo Properties LLC for Phase 1 roof repairs at the WWTP Press Building.
