ACTION REQUEST
The Utilities Department is asking the commission to authorize a contract with Magna Flow Environmental (Bid No. 2025-484) under Resolution No. 2025-72 for grit removal at the Wallace Knox Wastewater Treatment Plant for an amount not to exceed $500,000.00 See Contract (Exhibit A)
BACKGROUND (Brief Summary)
This project will finalize the cleaning of the aeration basins partially addressed last year and complete grit removal for an additional basin that was not done last year..
RECOMMENDATION
It is the recommendation of the Utilities Department that we authorize the contract with Magna Flow to complete this necessary task.
