ACTION REQUEST

The Utilities Department is asking for City Commission approval to enter into contract with Bull G Construction for the ongoing replacement of City waterlines in the amount of $1,431,003.00.

BACKGROUND (Brief Summary)

On April 29, 2026, the City received eleven (11) bids were received for the above referenced project. The project involves the replacement of approximately 12,090 LF of existing water lines with new lines ranging from 2" to 12" in diameter, and includes hydrants, valves, and all necessary labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals required for the project. The project also included one (1) Add Alternate. Add Alternate No. 1 includes replacement of approximately 710 LF of 6" thru 8" water lines.  For more detailed information and scope of work. RECOMMENDATION

It is the recommendation of the Utilities Department and ARKK Engineering that the City Commission approve the contract with Bull G Construction for the project stated above.
