ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Consider the endorsment of the appointment of Mr. Rob Heifner (Mainland Medical Center) to the United Board of Health and the Reappointments of five members: John Konikowski, MD, Medical Society, Steven Leach, CRNA, Municipality, Bernard Milstein, MD, Citizen at Large, Walter Treybig, III, Engineer, Bob Baylor, DVM, Veterinarian.
BACKGROUND
On Wednesday, May 12, 2010 the Galveston County Commissioners Court approved the recommendation that Members Cities reappoint five members of the United Board of Health and the approval for one new member, Rob Heifner, Mainland Medical Center. New terms will expire April 30, 2012.
