ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Approve Proposed Community Development Block Grant Budget in the amount of $465,137.00 for the Program Year 2010.
BACKGROUND
On May 11, 2010 the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) allocated $465,137 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds to the City of Texas City for the 2010 program year (an increase of $34,497 from previous year). The CDBG funds are to be used for eligible project activities that primarily benefit low to moderate income residents.
