ACTION REQUEST (Brief Summary)
Consider approval to continue in the Interlocal Agreement for the Annual Demolition of Residential Structures Contract with the City of Baytown, Texas.
BACKGROUND
On July 7, 2009, the City of Texas City entered into an Interlocal Agreement with the City of Baytown for the Annual Demolition of Residential Structures.
On June 22, 2010, the City Council of Baytown Renewed the Annual Demolition of Residential Structures Contract with J.T.B. Services Inc. under the same terms and conditions of $1.79 per square foot.
Included in the original agreement is an option by the parties to renew for additional one-year periods, which is being exercised at this time.
