A public hearing to hear citizens' opinion in favor of or in opposition to the proposal to increase total tax revenues from properties on the tax roll in the preceding year by 8.44 percent (2008 proposed tax rate will be 42.50¢ per $100 valuation as compared to 2007 tax rate of 43.561¢ per $100 valuation).
