CONSENT AGENDA: All of the following items on the Consent Agenda are considered to be routine by the City Commission and will be enacted by one motion. There will not be separate discussion of these items unless a Commission Member or citizen so requests. For a citizen to request removal of an item, a speaker card must be filled out and submitted to the City Secretary.
 
a.
Consider approval of the minutes from the June 3, 2009 City Commission meeting.
 
b.
Consider approval of Resolution No. 09-067 proclaiming the City's support of the 2010 Census Count.  (Planning Dept.) 
 
c.
Consider approval of Resolution No. 09-068 authorizing the Mayor to execute an Interlocal Governmental Agreement by and between the County of Galveston, the City of Texas City, City of LaMarque and the City of Galveston; its purpose is to agree to an equal split of the 2009 Byrne Justice Assistance Grant.

 
d.
Consider approval of Resolution No. 09-069 appointment of Deputy City Secretary and Records Management Officer. (Mayor)
 
e.
Consider approval of Resolution No. 09-070 declaring two of the Texas City Police Department's 1998 Crown Victoria's as surplus; and approving the donation of the surplus vehicles to the City of Montgomery Police Department.  (Police Dept.)
