A Regular Called Meeting of the City Commission was held on Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at 5:00 P.M. in the Kenneth T. Nunn Council Room in City Hall, Texas City, Texas. A quorum having been met, the meeting was called to order at 5:03 p.m. by Mayor Matthew T. Doyle.

Tom Munoz, Emergency Management, thanked everyone who helped over the weekend with the heavy flooding.
Police Chief Burby wished everyone happy holidays.
Fire Chief Zacherl wished everyone happy holidays.
Dennis J. Harris, Director of Parks and Recreation, stated that basketball season has kicked of for the City.
James Hartshorn, Economic Development Coordinator, reminded everyone of Food Truck Friday on December 9th.

COMMISSIONERS' COMMENTS
Mayor Pro Tem Phil Roberts stated that all of the first responders and citizens handled the heavy flooding and rainfall very well over the weekend.
Commissioner at Large Bruce Clawson wished everyone a Merry Christmas and stated that the Christmas Parade was very nice.

Having no further business, Commissioner District 3 Dorthea Jones made a MOTION to ADJOURN at 5:09 p.m.; All present voted AYE. MOTION CARRIED.
