The Texas City Cultural Arts Foundation, Inc. Board of Directors met WEDNESDAY at 2:00 PM, in the City Hall Conference Room, 1801 9th Avenue North, in Texas City, Texas. A quorum having been met, the meeting was called to order at by Dayna Perren with the following in attendance:

NEW BUSINESS
(a)
Consider and take action on election of offices and Oath of Officers.
It was decided to keep the current officers with Dayna Perren as Chairperson and JoAnn Hackbarth as Vice-Chairperson.

Motion by Director Leslie Henderson, Seconded by Director Joseph Figarelli to keep current officers.

Consider and take action on April 27, 2017, Texas City Cultural Arts Foundation meeting Minutes.
Motion by Director Mary Dickson, Seconded by Vice-Chairperson JoAnn Hackbarth to approve the April 27, 2017, meeting minutes.
Vote: 5 - 0 CARRIED

Consider and take action on Resolution No. 17-03, approving the actions of the Officers of the Board of the Texas City Cultural Arts Foundation for the previous fiscal year 2016-2017.
Motion by Vice-Chairperson JoAnn Hackbarth, Seconded by Director Leslie Henderson to approve Resolution No. 17-03.
Vote: 5 - 0 CARRIED

Consider and take action on Resolution No. 17-04, adopting the 2017-2018 fiscal year budget of the Texas City Cultural Arts Foundation.
Dennis J. Harris, Director of Recreation and Tourism went over the budget. He noted that Art Walk had become a line item and there was an increase in that budget item.
Leslie Henderson, Board Member, asked about the increase in scholarships. Mr. Harris said it was increased $4000 for College of the Mainland scholarships for their theater/performing arts program.
Dennis J. Harris, Director of Recreation and Tourism went over the budget. He noted that Art Walk had become a line item and there was an increase in that budget item.

Consider and take action on Resolution No. 17-05, approving the agreement with Nancy House for position of Art Festival Coordinator.
Dennis J. Harris, Director of Recreation and Tourism, stated the only changes to her contract was a 2 year agreement extension and a six percent increase.

Having no further business. JoAnn Hackbarth made a MOTION to ADJOURN at 2:21PM the motion was SECONDED by Joseph Figarelli. The meeting was adjourned.
