The Texas City Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors met May 4, 2022, at 3:00 p.m., in the City Hall Conference Room, 1801 9th Avenue North, in Texas City, Texas. A quorum having been met, the meeting was called to order at 3:04 p.m. by Mark Ciavaglia with the following in attendance:

Discuss and consider approval of the sale of TCEDC owned property located at 2129 7th Avenue North to Brenda and Donald Allen Poole
Motion by Mayor/ Director Dedrick D. Johnson, Seconded by Vice-Chairperson Randy Dietel
Vote: 3 - 0 CARRIED

Discuss and consider for approval the purchase of property located at 2609 Texas Avenue from Brenda and Donald Allen Poole
Motion by Mayor/ Director Dedrick D. Johnson, Seconded by Vice-Chairperson Randy Dietel

Discuss and consider for approval a resolution, approving the abatement and demolition of two commercial structures located at 801 Texas Avenue and 723 Texas Avenue

Dr. Duarte stated that 15 students were hired by 7 local businesses at the TCISD Signing Ceremony for those enrolled in the Career and Techmical Education Program.
