The Texas City Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors met on May 3, 2023, at 3:30 p.m., in the City Hall Council Room, 1801 9th Avenue North, in Texas City, Texas. A quorum having been met, the meeting was called to order at 3:31 p.m. by Mark Ciavaglia with the following in attendance:

NEW BUSINESS
(a)
Consider and take action on Resolution No. 2023-11, authorizing the transfer of property identified as ID No. 226284 as further described as GEOID 7030-0374-0004-000, a 0.17 acre tract located in the 800 Block of 15 Avenue in Texas City, to Ms. Graciela Cabrera, which will allow her to participate in the Texas General Land Office's Home Assistance Program.
Motion by Mayor/ Director Dedrick D. Johnson, Seconded by Director Larry Edrozo
Vote: 3 - 0 CARRIED

Consider and take action on Resolution No. 2023-12, approving an easement on property owned by the Texas City Economic Development Corporation, with an option to purchase currently held by Meritage Homes of Texas, LLC.
Motion by Mayor/ Director Dedrick D. Johnson, Seconded by Director Larry Edrozo
Vote: 3 - 0 CARRIED
